Disney x Colourblocks?

Saw this from Tavi's Style Rookie and found it's so interesting!
Exaggerate, exaggerate, and exagerate.
It makes me think of Disney films.
Owh, no wonder, Bye Bye Birdie is a musical.

Well, besides the funny cute interesting motion, I definitely love their fashion!
Who doesn't, right? Especially at this oh-vintage-is-SOOOO-in-era.

Comme des Garcons SS12

I like the all white.
I like the big ribbon which tied the hands.
It seems like a big present.
Owh, hi! Here is your gift! One mentally-ill lady!

Hello Mickey!

I want to live in a world which does not exist!
So I went to Disneyland; with my vintage old look.
And, I love the skirt so much. It doesn't make my ass looks fat! (Some pleated skirts will really make the butt looks super big, especially those with poor materials.)
I saw Mickey of course, but I didn't say hi to him.

Style inspiration: Tavi. Pleaded skirt.

Me and my shoes and my vintage pleaded skirt.

I got this polka dots pleaded skirt from a second-hand shop with a very cheap price for quite some time.
Although I've captured this photo long ago before Tavi recent post here, I realised that there're something similar. I don't know what is the similarity, maybe the pleaded skirt, maybe the angle of the photo, maybe the sunlight, maybe the balcony and the wooden floor; I'm not sure.

Or, maybe, there's no similarity. Just my imagination.
I will still say I'm inspired by Tavi! Indeed, I am!

Anyway, I love her new vintage white dress, and the price tag is even attractive. She got it with just $6!
One more, please~

Isn't it cute?

Anne Hathaway in Interview.

I first knew about Anne Hathaway was her acting in Princess Diaries, that was long long time ago, she was a sweet bubbly girl back then. I think people change for their grown-up. Anne Hathaway too. The most obvious change would be the period after her acting in The Devils Wear Prada. She becomes such a sexy gorgeous lady, yet elegant, nowadays, with her own strong personality. We can see it from her time-to-time red carpet looks.

Beside her good taste in fashion choosing for the red-carpets, she proves that she can be more than that by showing up with this gothic spiritual black and white look in Interview magazine for September issue.

I personally love this one so much. I see 'pain'.

She really is just so beautiful.
I love her in Princess Diaries, but I love her more in these photos.

Miu Miu's shiny disco sneakers.

Get the Disco party startet! Miu Miu Autumn 2011's shining sneakers are cute!
Honestly, I was not into bling-bling items at all; At some points, they're too girlish to me, I can't accept my phone sticked with Swarovski's crystal at all, or the Ipad? Ipod? Uh-uh, no way. Another points, they might be too hip-hop-ish to me, with the huge dollar sign shining necklace? Just not my cup of tea.
But these sneakers, hell yeah! I love them, even they're so shiny! Owh, I'm blided! Ouch! But I lov' it!

I personally love this pair!

How could I not love the above pair? The stones in the front part and the vintage-ish print on the body of the sneakers, just lovely! So shiny, so cute, so fun, so cool, yet so elegant.

Isn't the studded front part amazing?
So, come on'
Step on them and turn on the speaker playing Beat It, just nice! :D

Topshop's NAILS.

I just want to share something I've got from Topshop during the trip to Kuala Lumpur!
I've been missing Topshop for such a loooong time, since I'm back from UK last year.

When we talk about shopping, they have everything in Hong Kong, from stuffs with really low price (those we could find in small boutiques in everywhere - Mong Kok was one of the famous) to the high street brand (i.e. Monki, H&M, Zara, MNG.. etc.) to the high-end brands ( LV, Prada, Chanel, Hermes, Yohji's, Marc J. blah blah blah.. you name it!)
HOWEVER! UNFORTUNATELY! They do NOT have TOPSHOP! This's really unbelievable, illogical, unreasonable (I'm trying to find all the negative adjectives to describe this statement!), doesn't make sense at all!

So, I was like a crazy-little-fashion-noob wondering around Topshop excitedly. Awww! That reminds me of the time in UK! I miss UK so much. I miss those time that I could just go to Topshop for at least once per week, at least once! (Although I didn't get to buy stuffs everytime single time I was there).

But after few years that I've been a Topshop fan, this is actually my first time to buy their Nails collection!
(I was too lazy to polish my nails back then)
I am quite impressed by the texture! It's so easy to apply, surprisingly! The drawback is that it fades out easily too. But who cares, right.
I actually quite like the fading out effect, which makes my nails look so carefree. It's like, I just don't care!

Alright, I think I'm inspired by one of the bloggers I follow - here, where she painted her nails with bright orange and bright pink (together!) and did it in a very carefree way; she said: "Messy? I don't care!"
And that's the spirit I love!
We don't need to be perfect to feel great! :D

Knitwear designer: Hannah Taylor.

I just can't resist knitwear! That's why I love autumn/winter so much!

Hannah Taylor, who's just just graduated from Royal College of Art in London for Menswear Fashion MA. Her knitwear designs are playful and it makes me smile! I like them so much!!

Let's see her 2009 collections called "You'll Grow Into It":

Cute! Aren't them?
Next, her latest collection for her graduation in Royal College of Art:

I love them so much. I realised that she has inserted so many elements which are 'in' nowadays, like animals and prints and colours, which are all exist in the 2011 runway shows!

Besides that, her portfolio is amazing too;
It's carefree, artistic, not the ordinary fashion portfolio!

I want them all! Although they are for menswear, but who cares. I love oversized! AHHHHH!!!!
What a great inspiration. Lovely :)

Short Introduction.

Ok, this is my first post here (craps)
I should slightly introduce myself.

My name is Nicole, I love fashion but I'm not an expert in fashion, definitely not a fashion student. However, I love looking at beautiful stuffs and sharing them to people. I am not a professional fashion blogger (I never would imagine myself to be one like Tavi Gevinson!) but I really enjoy writing about stuffs I like, especially fashion.

For fashion, I love vintage! I love fashion designs which have its own character. I'm not a big fan of the high-end brands, but I don't refuse them. I just won't follow the trend blindly. But if they're crazily classy, like the Hermes Birkin, then why not, right? :)

Well, actually this is not my first blog about fashion, if you could read Chinese and if you're interested in what I wrote in the past, please visit here, where I write not only about fashion, also some other stuffs like musics and some thoughts.

You might think, then why do I need a new blog while I already have one?
So I say, I am a pretty weird person. I don't have a good reason for this entirely new blog. I just feel right to open a new blog, which no friend of mine knows about; at where I could just be myself and write freely without having too much of consideration.

Anyway, cut the craps.
Let's start sharing!

Feel free to comment :)
