[Outfit] Into the Wild

Ops, I have been absent here often lately. Busy with classes, homeworksss and the wedding prep. Well. And the exciting news is, I have successfully made my very first skirt by myself in class! Yay!  Well, I feel really excited and will post about the self-made skirt later. Again, I have actually captured some of my outfits these weeks but I was just too busy to update the blog. Anyway, here I am again with the outfits posts.

The weather is getting cooler these days, and I found that beanies has been quite a trend here lately, so I got this bear beanie from H&M! I found that it looks quite stupid in a good way. I think we could still have fun and be cool whilst keeping ourselves warm!

There are also grayish mouse and penguin beanies in the shop except this white bear. I personally love white and this bear looks really funny among the others, so I got this one.

So, yea, be funny and be happy!

[Outfit] Under the Sea

Waaaaah!!!

Last week was a hectic week for me, with revisions and tests, anyway, I went to Ocean Park yesterday! I guess I should have a some fun after the stressful week before I start my further revision for coming exams again.

Anyway, back to the Ocean Park and the outfit I wore yesterday. For those haven't visited Hong Kong before, Ocean park could be literally interpreted, where there are different species of sea creatures and also penguins and etc. Also there is a theme park with different kind of rides and also there are perfomances showing at different time slots. Basically it's a theme park with great aquariums. It has been a really long since my last visit to the park, like 10 years ago? I enjoyed this visit very much!

I wore a vintage blue x white dress, which I think it suits the ocean theme well! Well, I bought the shark headband from the Park to be more into the ocean mood. It looks fun!
I was like a little kid, jumping around and kept shouting : "Wow! So beautiful! Take picture for me!!" There are lots of colourful walls and pretty decorations and of course beautiful fishes and stuffs!

When I wish upon the star...

We played hide and seek in between the seaweed. Ahh.. kidding! The cute little girl just joined me for picture *smile*

And here goes the aquariums with fishes and the beautiful jelly-fishes...

It is so dreamy with the lights shine through the water and the music playing in big aquarium, and the elegant movement of the fishes and jelly-fish, especially the Sea-Jelly Spectacular (this name is found in the Ocean Park official site, but I think the direct translate from the Chinese name is much more beautiful, which would be: Sea Jelly Kaleidoscope)

[Outfit] Rainbow Autumn.

I have actually took some outfits picture these days but I am just too lazy to blog about it. I realised that I have been wearing very similar outfits for these 3 days, mainly with the same pastel rainbow knitwear I bought recently and my DIY rainbow horse necklace, as I think they look so perfect together! So I am going to post the outfits of these 3 days in a go here in one post!

First look:

2nd look:

We had a little walk around Tsim Tsa Tsui, I always love the waterfront and the Star Avenue, where we could feel the sea breeze and seeing the famous Hong Kong night view from the Victoria Harbor. I always suggest my friend to walk around there at night when they came to visit me from oversea. I think this is one the place I like, from a tourist perspective of view. I could just walking around there and sitting there and letting my mind free, relaxing and enjoying the view for all night, or all day if the weather is cool.

There was a man from California I met in Page One the bookstore on that night with the above outfit asked me if I am a Japanese or I am from Hong Kong, he said that he thought this girl must be a Japanese, but ops sorry, I answered him that I actually came from Malaysia and I'm now staying in Hong Kong. So his guess was wrong. I had a nice small chat with him though about the books and the places he traveled to.

3rd look:

Sorry for the bad quality of pictures because I was too lazy to carry the camera around, so all of the above images are captured with the phone. Anyway, that's it, the rainbow coloured knitwear and my rainbow coloured necklace. I personally love the knitwear so much!

Lastly, the lovely Victoria Harbor night view:

[DIY] Rainbow x horse x star.

Here is my another DIY I did 2 days ago before class. Love the horse pendant so much! I bought other colours as well, like transparent blue and transparent pink, but I still love this white horse the most. How good if it's a unicorn. Anyway, it's pretty easy to make this necklace, just do the normal friendship bracelet knots and, voila! There is the rainbow necklace! (I have actually share a video in my earlier post about the friendship bracelet knot, or else it could be found on Youtube)

Horse x star = my loves.

So, try it out! It's so easy!

[Outfit] Pink is sweet!

Last night, I attended my dear friend's wedding, who was my housemate during my study in UK. I feel so happy for her that she has found her beloved soul mate, who would walk through the rest of her life with her.

In Chinese tradition, we love wearing colourful dresses, like big red, pink, purple etc. to celebrate.
So, I wore pink vintage dress to celebrate her happy marriage! Pink is sweet, so does the wedding!

Love this dress I bought months ago during the summer, which I haven't had the chance to wear it until last night. The long sleeves are perfect for this autumn weather. I do not need to bring another scarf by wearing this. Also, it is formal enough for the wedding occasion yet not trying too hard. Most importantly, it's pink! The colour is just lovely.

No, that's definitely not my car (I wish I have a car here tho'). We took that car as background to show the colour of my dress! It's still too dark outside anyway, and the yellow street light affected the lovely pink. So There is another indoor picture showing the real colour of my dress.

Anyway, that's all for today. Gotta rest early now and will have French class in the morning (level 2 for French! Yay! )

[Outfit] Maximize the Black.

So, it has been about weeks since my last update on the blog. I have been busying with tons of stuffs lately, classes, wedding preparation, homework this and that. Productive weeks? Not really. Just busy without seeing any solid results. This feeling sucks.

Anyway, here are some outfit photos I took about a week ago which I didn't really have time to sit down and edit them. I wore all black on that day to dinner at Hong Kong Peninsula Hotel, we had cheese fondue and I think it tastes so much better than the one I had in Geneva.

Anyway, I have decided to go for all black after few weeks of flowery fever. I love flowery, but sometimes, I do think I look better and cooler in blacks. All black could be boring, but it could be interesting as well if you go layering with HUGE garment or beautiful fabrics, like beautiful lace or sheer blouse.

So I wore this huge skirt with oversize sheer black shirt accessorised with black shoulder bag. Ta-da! All black but not boring, I think.

This huge skirt makes me feel very happy! I can't help but keep rotating on the ground to see the skirt flies. I love the skirt so much as the fabric is so thick and it stands well on the shape, however, the downside is that it is so heavy!

I got this polka dots black sheer shirt (the polka dots is not obvious tho') from a random vintage store, and I love it so much! It's over knee length tho', so I must cover it with a midi longer than it or wear it as a dress.

Anyway, we passed by this beautiful white wall after dinner and we had fun playing around by ignoring the others looking at us think that we're crazy. What's life without fun?

Seeking balance is the hardest thing in my life, seriously.

So, let's have fun and smile even when we lost balance in life!

Lastly, I want to share a bit about the eyeliner I am using now as I have friends asking me about the brand of the eyeliner I'm using and how to draw a beautiful sharp line. Well, I am using the eyeliner called KATE, which could be easily found in the cosmetic shops and with an affordable price. Honestly, I have tried some great brands gel eyeliner, but still it got smudge easily for me, I think it might be my skin problem. Anyway, this Kate eyeliner is sharp and really long lasting! The downside is, it is quite hard to be removed! Other than that, it's a really great eyeliner!

Well, that's all. Sorry for the long post.

Dear unicorns...

Dear Unicorns, I wish to be as magical as you do, one day.

How nice if I could have a unicorn as a pet.. or as a close friend whom I can talk to..
