[Outfit] Soup of the Day: Comme des Garcons White Drama inspired.

I fall in love with this skirt the time I first saw it at H&M. Love the huge exaggerate puffiness shape of it, and the minimalism at the same time. Matching it with the Zara white top, immediately reminded me of the Comme des Garcons White Drama series (without the dramatic headpiece tho').

[Outfit] Soup of the Day: Lady-like. Not?

Yesterday, I decided to choose the mustard pencil midi which was lying peacefully in my closet for like months (Btw, pencil midi? Pencil skirt? What do you call this kind of skirt? I love the texture of the fabric. It's soft, casual yet could be quite lady-like, and it's with elastic waistband; easy come easy go. lol. ) Oh, and I definitely love the colour! Mustard-orangey? It looks really special, for me. There was black actually the time I bought this skirt, but I still prefer to go for something different (yea, I guess at least half of my closest is in black .. *yawning* )

And, my hair colour is surprisingly matching with the skirt! I never thought of that! Anyway, pair it with my vintage flowery blouse (not new, if you did follow my blog, I wore it before) and the white cardigan I got long time ago from Zara (sorry that one of the buttons was dropped out, ops. ) 

Well. That's all. I am actually blogging now with my little break from the making of the sketch-board, it's due tomorrow, but I am really sleepy right now. Hmm..

Soup of the Day: Nerdy Day.

I went to the library to borrow some books about fairy tale, Shakespeare, English history etc, hoping to get some more inspiration for my collection sketches due on next week. 

Anyway, then I went to the vacant rooftop of the library to wonder around. It feels good sometimes to go to places with no people. That allows you to have fun and to fool around, taking pictures without any interruption, and it would be a bonus if the place have lovely wall paint colour! Like this pastel blue colour in the pictures. I like! I think it matches with my hair colour. *grin*

Anyway, I am wearing this very old dress I got from H&M, I love the big round umbrella skirt! It just make me feels like dancing around with such wavy skirt! Furthermore, I love that it goes well with different kind of occasions, from work to study and also good for dating, my personal view. Well, that's why the little black dress is a must in the closest, isn't it? 

Pair it up with the cardigan and the books, I feel so nerdy, in a good fashionable way. *wink*

[Outfit] Soup of the Day: 15 Minutes Eternal.

Here comes the late post of my outfit pictures I taken weeks ago! I went to the Andy Warhol's exhibition held at the Hong Kong Museum of Art. The exhibition is pretty good, as "pop art is for everyone", it's not difficult to like his work. I would not use 'love' tho', just my personal view. 

Anyway, I wore this simple yet not casual outfit to the exhibition. I am in love with this coat I purchased from Pull and Bear at the discounted section, it's like love at first sight, when I saw it hanging there and was ignored by people passing around. 

I added a pair of lace socks which we used to wear when we were young to make the whole unicorn look more dreamy and also contradict to the minimalism of the clear cut grey coat.

[outfit] Soup of the Day: Pastel Blocks.

Finally here is a normal outfit post after the overdose of wedding posts. Before uploading my self designed wedding gown, here are some casual outfit photos I took weeks ago.

I love the scarf I just bought from Monki about month ago (yes, I realised that I am really a Monki freak.) Anyway, love the cute colours of the scarf, so I decided to go soft for the whole look. 

I match the vintage sheer flowery shirt with the flowery patterned knit-vest, both different flowery patterned white clothing looked quite odd together, but I like the strange-yet-kind-of-harmonious feeling  of the whole look. Maybe, I am the weird one. 

Anyway.

[Outfit] Night Is Mine!

There are of course times that I am feeling tired and feeling lazy and I just feel like being comfortable and want to dress down, such as the times when I just want to go down to get some groceries, or times when I am just going downstairs for dinner with the man, or the times when I just want to walk in the park and get some fresh air. In those times, I don't really feel like having full make up with 'clown' dresses. 

I would say I am a person who is always trapped in the reminiscent mood; I love vintage and I try my best not to throw things (which causing my room looks like in the state of war in 90% of the time in my life); I would always try to dig out the old clothing I bought years ago to mix and match with the new stuffs. So this time, I have my inexpensive skirt from Primark. 

Dressing-down doesn't mean you should look ugly. I do think you still could present your own personality even with dressing down, and you could still have fun even without the clown dresses! 

After all, life is too short for not having fun right? 

With a little bit of i-D element, if you got what I mean. The wink? 

And do have fun with the nature.  How could we not fall for the flowers? 

Shall thou staying where thou should have and I shall remember us forever.

I think it might be too little for a fashion/style post, the dressing down and all, but don't we sometimes just want to take things easy and and just have fun no matter what? 

So the night is mine! You should have yours too! Live the life we have imagined and not live the life that is told by others!

[Outfit] Black x White the classic match.

Halo everyone! (If someone is reading tho')
This is my first ever snapshots post of my own outfit in this 'fashion blog'. I am a bit nervous and also was excited trying to act like expert blogger (errr.. I mean acting like), yes I have been dreaming to be an expert fashion blogger since the first time I read Tavi's blog (everyone knows Tavi right? Booo.. yea I'm still talking about Tavi, la di da), I am really inspired by her. Besides Audrey Hepburn, I think she would be the next person inspires me the most in my life; ok, I mean in my fashion life. 

So, here we go~ I was wearing my 50% off COS's black dress with the belt I bought from Zara during the sales too, finish up the look with white loafers. Sorry for the blurry pictures and the repeated poses, as I said, I am really a newbie in this. 

Anyway, this might seems to be under-dressed for a fashion blog I guess or this look doesn't show the breath of summer, but who cares. I love black, and I do think black and white is always the best and classic match. Don't we all love LBD? 

I added the this 'ribbon-ish' thingy on my hair so that it could add a little statement to my plain look. It is actually a small square scarf with chiffon x organza-ish fabric (I seriously don't know what kind of fabric is that but it is hard enough to stand as a bow); I do think scarf is a good accessories, and it's not only for the neck! 

Not to forget the vintage shoulder bag, I bought it in a really good price and I love it so much! It just simply goes with any kind of dress and look, especially vintage look. I hope I could capture a closer look of the bag next time. Again, I apologise for my experience-less fashion shooting.
